This is just my English essay, but I really like this film.
"The curious case of Benjamin Button" is a film unlike any I've ever seen. It's a true epic that left me even speechless. The movie demands you to feel not only for the death we witness, but for the incredible life we discover. It teaches us not only to appreciate some obvious morality issues, but also to discover them in our mind from the other side, which still isn't opened for us. The story helps to feel the real power of love which can overcome lots of pain and difficulties during your life.
This visually and emotionally rich movie recalls the life of a very peculiar man born in the early 20th century who ages backwards. We learn his story from the diary, read by the daughter of his love, Daisy. But while Daisy is growing up and getting older as an every normal person, Benjamin, conversely, is becoming younger and younger. They fall in love with each other and meet in their forties, when in the age they finally match up. Some of the revelations in Benjamin's diary are difficult to read for the Daisy's daughter, especially the time of reconnection between the main heroes, when Daisy gets older and Benjamin grows younger into his childhood years.
The acting is also wonderful. Kate Blanshet and Brad Pitt look great and, in my opinion, Benjamin Button is one of Brad Pitt's best roles. This movie is probably not for everyone through, because someone could review it badly. Some episodes could seem to be too long and boring, because the film lasts about 3 hours. But as for me, I found it rather touching, vital and mysterious, because I really like such films.
